Buyback Refurb Ticket

It is always exciting to purchase a used device and sell it at a higher profit. However, not every used device is in the perfect condition to be sold as it is. Such devices need to be repaired before they are put on the sale. Managing the details of these repairs is as important as managing tickets of a regular repair service. That is why RepairDesk allows you to generate refurbishment tickets for pre-used devices in case you feel the need for repair.

Creating a Refurb Ticket for Buyback

The process of creating a refurb ticket for a buyback starts from creating a buyback in your store. Suppose a customer walks in and sells a phone to you, however, they mention that you will have to make a few repairs to it. After you buy the device as a buyback, here are some steps you can perform to open its refurbishment ticket before you start working on repairs:

  1. After you have purchased a buyback product, you see a button for Create Refurb Ticket on the popup screen. Click on this button.
  2. The new popup opened will allow you to either select a problem from the dropdown or you can add an issue on your own. Click on the Create Refurb Ticket button at the bottom right once you have added all the issues.
  3. Next, you will see a screen similar to the ordinary repair ticket screen. If you want, add details like passcode, password, model condition, repair parts to be used, or order special parts.
  4. When done, click on the Create Ticket button at the top right corner of the screen to create a refurbishment ticket with all the given details.
