Tax setup is one of the most important elements of a repair shop. It is connected with inventory, sales, profit, customers, and whatnot. Looking at its importance, RepairDesk has already designed a tax setup with various shortcuts for you.
What’s in it for you?
Create multiple tax classes for your store that you can select whenever you add or create an item. You can enable or disable tax classes from the tax settings.
General Tax Configuration
View the tax setup: Settings > Store > Tax Configuration > General
Click on a Add a New Tax Class
RepairDesk’s tax configuration allows you to introduce new tax classes. If you aim to add a new tax class, here are the steps you must follow:
Click on the Add New Tax Class button located at the top right corner of the screen.
A new window will slide in from the right side of the screen. You can enter the name of the text class and its tax percentage in the designated text boxes.
If you want to apply this tax class to all or selected items, you can do that from Service or Product listing with bulk edit framework.
Click on the Save button at the bottom right corner of the drawer to save the new tax class.
