How to manage a warranty claim in a ticket?

Customers might come back to your store for a warranty claim. For example, a customer comes back for a warranty for a back camera replaced from your store. For this purpose, RepairDesk lets you manage your warranty claims in a ticket.

Managing warranty claim

  • Once you click on "warranty claim", it will direct you to the search bar as shown in the image below.

  • You can search your ticket by writing the ticket id in the search bar.

  • Once you add the ticket id, you will be able to open the ticket where you can manage your warranty claim.

Important: The warranty period starts when the asset is market closed.

You can manage your warranty claims in a ticket on the right side as shown in the image below.

Important: Warranty claims can only be addressed in the ticket.

By any chance, if you want to log time for the warranty item or want to charge the customer at the time of warranty claim then you can specify the details in the right drawer of warranty item in the ticket view & add it to cart to create an invoice.
